Adoptions and rehoming
All animals available for Adoption are regularly listed on our website. These are animals either in an approved Aims foster home under the care of our Sanctuary or they are residents of partner shelters. For questions and enquiries on Adoptions please contact adoptions@aimsanctuary.org
We have a tiered adoption fee depending on the age and status of each dog. All of our adult dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and sterilised prior to adoption unless their health status or circumstances dictate otherwise.
Adoption applicants must be over the age of 18 and have proof of residence / empadronamiento. At Aims we provide a quality care adoption procedure and our checks are thorough to ensure dogs are placed correctly, this includes a home-check and interview once your application has been received and reviewed.
Rehoming
Sadly many dogs can find themselves in situations where they need to find a new family due to a change in circumstances. We offer a re-homing service by listing a dog with our audiences and endeavouring to find the right placement. Our re-homing fees vary depending on the status of the animal and what the animal requires (medical care, behaviour modification, training, sterilisation etc). All re-homing requests must complete our questionnaire and the animal will be assessed by our team prior to listing.
For all rehoming enquiries please contact rehoming@aimsanctuary.org
All of our Rehomings and Adoptions are done with patience and attention to detail. We aim to have each animal placed correctly with the least amount of stress and trauma.
