Sponsorship is an extremely important incentive that hugely benefits the animals under Aims.
By Virtually Sponsoring an animal you will personally be making an improvement to his or her life. Costs for looking after abandoned animals can quickly mount up, therefore knowing that an animal´s food and medical expenses are contributed to is very reassuring, it can also mean that the animal may get that extra treat or toy that perhaps they would not ordinarily have. Virtual Sponsorship gives that personal touch of magic to an animal’s life and hopefully you will proudly feel the benefits too.
For Virtual Sponsorship we ask for a monthly payment with a minimum of 15€ per month for a minimum of 6 months. When you sign up to Sponsor an animal you will receive a welcome pack including your certificate and welcome gift and you will also receive regular updates about the animal you have chosen to sponsor including photos and personalised videos.
We also have "Key Causes" Sponsorship - this is an initiative whereby we collect money for a specific cause and keep you updated on the progress. Key Causes are important to Aims, this enables us to fund larger projects for example giving an animal long awaited treatment or an operation. This also enables us to purchase more expensive items for shelter animals such as medical equipment and maintenance items such as food and water dispensers.

Schools initiative
We believe that education on Animal Welfare should start as early as possible. Interaction between children and animals can be such a wonderful experience and we try to encourage children to learn the benefits and the responsibilities of owning a pet but also explaining the consequences for abandoned and mistreated animals. We are proud to be in partnership with the English International College here on the coast. The children at EIC have created some wonderful fundraising and awareness events for Aims and the team regularly visit the school to participate in this collaboration by way of giving informative talks and safely introducing dogs to interact with. EIC school have been raising funds for our puppies and the students have named Aims first litter!

Veterinary Sponsorship
Looking after abandoned animals can be a costly experience and when it comes to medical treatment we aim to give our animals the best care that we can. We are hugely grateful for the support of local vets in the municipality who help the Aims team with veterinary care.
