Aims is a newly registered “not for profit” charitable association. We are privately funded with no government assistance and take finances very seriously - your money matters. Thanks to our excellent treasury department our donations are meticulously accounted for. We can vouch for every cent that is donated to Aims and you can receive regular updates on the animals you are helping.
Much of what we do relies on the generosity of our sponsors and donors and we are hugely grateful for your help.
Meet our trusted treasurer Tracy Duggan: Tracy has over 35 years experience with many aspects of fiduciary management and financial markets. She has extensive knowledge of treasury management having qualified under the Association of Corporate Treasurers. She has worked in senior roles for large London based banks. Tracy understands that tight monetary control and transparent accounting policies are key to running a successful charity.
All of our activity is also carefully monitored by our consultant legal advisor Christina Falkenberg. Cristina has been practising law for over twenty years and is a member of the Malaga Bar Association. Cristina has also been working in Animal Welfare since 2011 and is a member or the national Lawyers for Animal Welfare groups. Cristina is a fully trained arbitrator and holds a degree in Economics & Business management and a masters in Money, Banking & Finance.
Our Aim is to provide a trusted & transparent service. None of the members of our governing board receive a salary.
Legacy & Re-Homing programme
At Aims we all share the same passion for Animal Welfare and Wellbeing. We understand the concerns of owners who may be worried about the future of their pets in the event of a change in circumstance such as a house move or death in the family. This is why we have introduced a unique re-homing service for those who need assistance placing their pets in the event of their death or other circumstances beyond their control. If applicants meet the criteria we provide a bespoke plan for the future security of your pet, providing assurance that your animals needs will be met.
