Description
Akira is one of the many beautiful dogs currently being cared for in one of our partner sanctuaries. Unfortunately Akira was paralysed from puppyhood and was abandoned by her first owners when they became aware of her injuries which prevent her from walking normally. Akira has lost the use of her back legs due to a spinal cord injury but she is a happy soul, enjoying outings assisted by the use of a special harness. She lives in a calm and spacious kennel where she manages very well despite her disability but would benefit from sponsorship to assist with her ongoing needs. Akira is seven years old.
