Description
During his years in the sanctuary, Golliath had been through a long process of tests and treatments. We found out that he had a serious spinal cord injury and his right shoulder was fractured and dislocated. His shoulder was operated on in the first months of his arrival but the spinal cord injury could not be operated on so we opted for active and constant physiotherapy for more than two full years.
There have been years of tests, operations, improvements and relapses: years of racing in his wheelchair and many others of complete autonomy. We have all learned a lot from him and not only in the clinical aspect, because having witnessed his fight has given us kilos and kilos of hope, desire and strength. Golliath managed to walk again, on his 4 limbs, without a wheelchair! He is a real warrior, one who fights the bad things in his life with strength and a smile.
