Description
Cathy is one of fifteen dogs rescued together from a desperate situation. Her previous owner suffered
from Noah syndrome, a psychological disorder characterized by the pathological accumulation of animals
in her home. Animals are generally rescued from the streets with good intentions, but the number of
animals increases too quickly to provide adequate care for each one. It was after the owner's death that
neighbors notified us of the precarious situation.
In their previous home, the dogs did not go for walks, did not know what a leash is, and, at first, did not
allow people to touch them. They are still in the process of socialization and adapting to a new life; a life in
which each of them receives all the individual attention and love they deserve. We hope they can soon
find a new home, a warm nest where their personalities can flourish.
Cathy is one of the youngest females in the house; she wasn't spayed, chipped, or vaccinated during her
previous life. It seems that Cathy, like the others, isn't used to petting or cuddling. But they are becoming
more interested every day! Cathy needs a family that understands her past and respects her journey, so
she can develop into the happy little dog she carries within her. Aside from the spay and a thorough dental
cleaning, which she has yet to complete, all we have left to do is show Cathy that the good life has just
begun. She lives peacefully with other dogs, both male and female.
