Description
Kevin is one of fifteen dogs rescued together from a desperate situation. His previous owner suffered from Noah's syndrome, a psychological disorder characterized by the pathological accumulation of animals in their home. Animals are generally rescued from the streets with good intentions, but the number of animals increases too quickly to provide adequate care for each one. It was after the owner's death that neighbors notified us of the precarious situation.
In their previous home, the dogs did not go for walks, did not know what a leash is, and, at first, did not allow people to touch them. They are still in the process of socialization and adapting to a new life; a life in which each of them receives all the individual attention and love they deserve. We hope they can soon find a new home, a warm nest where their personalities can flourish.
Kevin is one of the males who wasn't neutered, chipped, or vaccinated during his previous life; he's one of the oldest dogs in the house. His crooked jaw shows that he suffered a trauma in his past. It's unclear what happened or when, but it is clear that the bone has healed and no longer causes him pain or problems eating or living a normal life. Kevin is still wary of people, but as he grows closer to his caregivers, his gradual approach clearly demonstrates his interest in what his new life has to offer. He is scheduled for a thorough dental cleaning and neutering; after that, all that remains is to prove that the good life has only just begun. He lives peacefully with other dogs, both male and female.
