Description
Max has been with his rescue home from when he was a young puppy and has always been a friendly, sweet and unproblematic dog. However as he reached adolescence he has lost his way within in the pack and has struggled to find his place amongst stronger and older dogs and become insecure and anxious. He has also developed a prey drive with cats and cannot stay in the environment he was brought up in due to the disruption to senior more vulnerable dogs and the cats he was residing with. He has now been separated from the pack and is quite depressed.
Like all rescues, Max will need time to adjust to a new family. He has always been kind, loving and playful with humans. Ideally he would be placed in a home with no other animals or another dog he can develop a friendship with that matches his energy.
