Description

Toby is one of fifteen dogs rescued together from a desperate situation. His previous owner suffered from Noah's syndrome, a psychological disorder characterized by the pathological accumulation of animals in their home. Animals are generally rescued from the streets with good intentions, but the number of animals increases too quickly to provide adequate care for each one. It was after the owner's death that neighbors notified us of the precarious situation.

In their previous home, the dogs did not go for walks, did not know what a leash is, and, at first, did not allow people to touch them. They are still in the process of socialization and adapting to a new life; a life in which each of them receives all the individual attention and love they deserve. We hope they can soon find a new home, a warm nest where their personalities can flourish.

Toby is one of the males who was neutered and chipped during his previous life; he is one of the oldest dogs in the house. He still has the look of a puppy, gradually approaching us, clearly demonstrating his interest and desire for cuddles, even though he has never felt them before. Toby is very interested in everything that happens around him; he loves being up-to-date with the happenings in his environment; he takes great care of his brothers and sisters with his reassuring presence. Toby arrived with a severe ear infection, a chronic condition that had caused him to suffer for a long time in his old home. Now, after intensive treatment, his ears are completely healed, and he couldn't be more relieved. He is scheduled for a thorough dental cleaning; after that, all that remains is to prove that the good life has only just begun. He lives peacefully with other dogs, both male and female. After his blood test, Toby was diagnosed with Ehrlichia, a disease that can be completely cured with a course of antibiotics, which he is currently taking. After the waiting period, his blood can be checked to verify his full recovery.
